Bookings

Before booking, any New Exhibitors should ensure that they have sent Craft Fairs Scotland either sample images or a link to their website. (Bookings will not be accepted if your work has not been approved)

Bookings are on a first come, first served basis.

Bookings will only be confirmed when we have received a completed Booking Form and Full Payment.

Bookings are not confirmed until you have received a confirmation e-mail.

You are required to pay the Full Amount at the same time as submitting your completed Booking Form. You will be directed to the Payment page immediately after you submit your completed Booking Form.

The full payment amount is indicated in the event description on the 'Events' page.

All bookings are non-transferable (between events and/or Exhibitors).

Craft Fairs Scotland accepts no responsibility for technical problems which lead to delay or failure of payment.

Craft Fairs Scotland reserves the right to refuse any application which does not meet with our specified criteria, without explanation and promptly return the full fees received.

By providing an exhibitor photo, you are agreeing to us using your photo in promotional material.

Cancellation Policy

In line with the current 'Distance Selling Regulations (2000)', Exhibitors have a cooling-off period in which they can withdraw from the contract for any reason. The cooling-off period begins as soon as we receive the payment to confirm your booking. The cooling-off period ends seven working days after the day the payment was received.

On cancellation of a booking, for any reason, within the cooling-off period, Craft Fairs Scotland will refund the full amount received.

Any cancellations, for any reason, out-with the cooling-off period, and up to one calendar month before the event, will forfeit a booking fee of £20.00. In this instance, a refund will be made less the booking fee.

Any cancellations, for any reason, within one calendar month of the event, will forfeit the full amount paid.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail as soon as possible, and we will confirm receipt of the cancellation.

In the event that Craft Fairs Scotland is required to refund any payments, these will be issued via PayPal only. (This may require the recipient to create a PayPal account to claim their funds)

Craft Fairs Scotland reserves the right to refuse future booking from Exhibitors who do not attend an event they have booked, without prior notification.

Non-attendance will forfeit the full amount paid, and may affect future bookings.

Items for sale

All items on display must be handmade by the Exhibitor. If the stallholder on the day is a chosen representative, Craft Fairs Scotland must be notified prior to the event.

Any new Exhibitors are required to submit images of their work for approval, prior to making a booking. This can either be a website address or sample photos sent via e-mail.

Only the items/crafts detailed on your Booking Form may be displayed at the event.

We reserve the right to ask you to take off any items from your display which you have not detailed on your Booking Form.

Public Liability Insurance

It is highly recommended that each exhibitor has their own Liability Insurance. No responsibility will be taken by Craft Fairs Scotland for any damage, accidents caused or theft of personal possessions.

On the day

If you are going to be late on the day, please telephone Craft Fairs Scotland as soon as possible. Our contact number is 07908 182 508.

There will be no admittance to the venue hall before the stated set-up time.

On arrival, Craft Fairs Scotland will take a Register and inform you of your allocated stall location. Allocation of spaces are planned prior to the event. Under no circumstances should there be any request to switch tables.

On arrival at the venue, please familiarise yourself with Fire Exits.

If an exhibitor has not arrived at the venue ten minutes before the event start time and has not notified Morningside Makers Market, the allocated table will be removed from the hall. No admittance will be permitted after this time and the full amount paid will be forfeited.

Strictly nothing to be attached/stuck to the venue walls! Exhibitors will be held responsible for any damage that they cause to the venue or property of Craft Fairs Scotland. Should there be any significant damage, the Exhibitor will be charged for the full cost of repair or replacement, and will be refused future bookings.

A 6ft table and chairs will be provided.

All stalls must be well presented and covered with a floor-length cloth.

All exhibitors must ensure that their display does not obstruct the view of other stalls. Any additional free-standing displays must fit within or behind the allocated 6ft table space you have paid for. Due to Health & Safety reasons, strictly no items are to be left/displayed at the sides of or in front of the table.

As exhibitors are limited to the allocated 6ft table space, you may wish to book an extra space to ensure adequate room for any additional free-standing displays.

Strictly no packing away before the advertised closing time! Any Exhibitor found packing up early will be refused future bookings!

Please make sure you dispose of your own rubbish and ensure that your allocated space is left clean and tidy.

Craft Fairs Scotland will not be held responsible for theft or damage of your stock/property whilst you are attending an event.
